🏝️ Join our CE-5 team for a special two-night contact expedition on the enchanting volcanic island of Shikinejima, one of the inhabited Izu Islands, reachable by ferry from Tokyo, over the September 11–13 weekend. With minimal light pollution, Shikinejima is one of the best places to see the stars and the Milky Way anywhere near Tokyo. 🌌 It also has some of the clearest water in the Izu Islands, with free natural hot springs that rise straight out of the seaside rock. ♨️ At just 4 km², the island is small enough to explore by e-bike 🚲, and once the summer season ends, it grows very quiet and unhurried. We'll stay at a warm, welcoming minshuku a short walk from the hot springs and spend our days riding out to observation points with wide views across the sea to the neighbouring islands. 🌊 We’ll have plenty of time to…
